At Mekus Tanager, my primary responsibilities centered around designing marketing collateral for local publications and managing our printing vendor relationships. I successfully crafted visually compelling advertisements that appeared in prestigious publications such as Chicago Architect Magazine, Arch Daily, the News Tribune, and various local newspapers. These ads effectively showcased our firm's capabilities and helped drive brand awareness and engagement within our target audience.

A key aspect of my role at Mekus Tanager was actively participating in and contributing to the branding of the organization. It was crucial for me to thoroughly understand the preexisting brand presence and the unique niche that Mekus Tanager occupied within the industry. By doing so, I was able to ensure that this presence was effectively translated across multiple media streams, while also modernizing the visual materials by incorporating elements such as hierarchy, scale, and white space. The impact of my work can still be seen today in Mekus Tanager's branding, demonstrating my ability to grasp and apply classic design concepts in a manner that aligns with the organization's identity and goals.
